Oxford is steeped in Literary history and there’s plenty to see even if you only have a day. For some of the sights you just have to know where to look.
“I want to discuss something with you, but I need you to remain calm while I tell you,” my friend Traci caught me as I was entering my dorm room. Wondering what was coming next I waited. “I’m planning a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando and the hotel will be cheaper if we split it between 4 of us. I need one more person.” Remain calm?? Who was she kidding? YES YES YES I WANT TO GO! When do we leave?!?!
Review of Lucy Knisley’s Here at Hogwarts, a graphic novel travel log of her experience at the Harry Potter Wizarding World in Orlando.
This was the most amazing day of the trip so far, for me anyway. We spent almost the entire day at the London Harry Potter Studio experience. There was so much to see and do and so much visual stimuli that, unlike at the British Museum, I did not have time to think and analyze, or takes notes about what I saw.
