Last time I was in London, I decided to try out the StoryTourist app. So I took myself on a Sherlock Holmes walking tour and filmed my experience. I really enjoyed the walking tour, so I was excited when the StoryTourist company reached out after seeing my vlog and suggested we work together in the future!
The StoryTourist app also has a walking tour in London based on The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde that I was excited to try out. Luckily I have a very understanding husband, who kindly agreed to spend the last day of our Honeymoon, as we happened to have one day in London, taking the tour with me (and helping me film another vlog!). So I reached out to StoryTourist and they kindly gifted both of us access to the tour. So armed with a copy of the novel and the tour downloaded on our iPhones, we set out in broad daylight to walk the streets where Robert Louis Stevenson’s victorian gothic horror novel takes place.

The StoryTourist tour makes you solve a puzzle at each stop along the route before you get the directions to the next destination. This tour took us by Dr. Johnson’s House and Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese pub, and as we had to stop anyway, we took a couple detours along the way to check out the historic sights built into the tour.
As these spots don’t exactly appear in the novel, I was curious how they ended up in the tour, and I had a few more questions for StoryTourist. Happily, the CEO of StoryTourist was kind enough to answer my questions!
