The Wheel on the School is a cute story about the young pupils of a quintessential Dutch village working together to bring back roosting storks to the roof tops of their town.
The Wheel on the School takes place in a small, fictional, town in old Holland. The characters wear the iconic Netherlands wooden clogs and windmills are still very much part of the country’s identity. Today Holland’s modern cities no longer have this quintessential Dutch feel, but it can still be experienced at the historic village museum/experience of Zaanse Schans.
