Happy Holidays!
I hope you’re all enjoying the December holidays so far! I may be a little late in posting this, but we’ll have to chalk it up to too much holiday-ing. If you’ve been scouring internet sites as I have, in the search for the perfect gift for someone (and then consequently just finding more to add to your own wishlist…) then maybe you could use a suggestion or two.
My Recommendations:
This year I have acquired two items that I shall not be traveling without in the future:
1. Convertible Bear & Neck Travel Pillow Each trip I debated whether I should take up the space in my travel bag with this pillow, and each time I brought the bear I along I was glad I did. I find the bear shape more comfortable as a pillow, but if you don’t want to look like you’re carrying a teddy around, the convertible factor is great.
2. REI Stuff Travel Daypack This little pack holds pretty much all you need for a light day hike and even works for touring cities (if you’re the kind of person who doesn’t mind looking like a tourist… I wasn’t the one using this pack in London… but it can be done!). The best part about this little sack is that it folds up into a small pouch that nicely fits in your other travel bags.
For the book loving traveler, here are some books that inspired my travel this past year…
…and the item I added to my own wishlist:
Polaroid Snap. Positively reviewed by Instagramer, @Ursula_uriarte.
Recently, I got a chance to play with the Fugi Instax Mini 8, which seems like a great addition for those that want to scrapbook on the go as they travel. However, the Snap, unlike the Instax saves a digital file as well as instantly printing. One of these trips I would love to try scrapbooking with instant prints as I travel and have a complete scrapbook done before returning home!

[…] more convenient if the books were smaller, travel size, if you will. In another room I found those book-smelling candles I’d been longing for! I lifted the lids to smell them and each time wrinkled my nose. I guess I’ll strike those from […]
